These are warm without being sweaty. You still need layers but these are much nicer looking than thermal underwear. The dye is a very deep black and navy. The sleeves are a little too long but can be pushed toward the elbow and they stay in place. Nice crew neck. I have batwing (fat saggy) arms and a tummy and somehow it stretches to fit nicely (your tummy will still stick out). Very soft, good quality.

The white shirt had obvious black marks on front and on inside top of neck area. AMAZON Customer Service 5 STAR & ABOVE, this is the second obvious “used” item I have received in a week, sellers need to inspect returns more carefully! They should be compensating NOT Amazon. Such a good deal that I was hesitant on whether I should bother trying these or not. I’m SO glad I did! I bought them to wear under my work shirts. I’m a freeze baby and with cold weather approaching I knew I had to find something that would help me retain some body heat after going in and out of walk in freezers. The 5 pack of shirts arrived quickly and I was surprised at how soft they felt. The outside is “silky” without being shiny (which I was happy about) and it helps your outer layer slide on easily over it. The inside is a very thin super soft layer of fleece. When I felt how thin it felt I was hesitant it would really help much with warmth. You can see in my one photo how you can tell that I didn’t have a smooth bra underneath and can see the material. I wore one under a sweatshirt just at home first and I did feel cozy and comfortable. Today I wore it at work and I must say I was impressed. I could totally feel a difference wearing it and for how thin it appeared, it really did its job!! I’m 5’8”, 130 lbs and normally wear a Small, sometimes Medium if I want a looser fit. I could have ordered the Small, but I wanted a bit more length. I will say that it is a good length not just on my torso, but also in my arms-plenty long enough. It is a little loose overall but it didn’t feel baggy under my sweatshirt at all and the sleeves stayed put also. So for me I’d say true to size or order up for a looser fit. The price for these couldn’t be beat at less than $6 a shirt. I’m pretty sure I’ll be wearing these all Fall & Winter long even when I’m at home for that cozy extra layer. I’d definitely recommend!
