I bought the HOOHEAT Heated Jacket for Men this week and I am beyond impressed. I live in Shakopee, MN and work outside a lot, so I needed something serious for the cold. First off, the heating is FAST. I felt real warmth across the back, chest, and pockets in about 3 seconds. It has 3 heat levels - Low is perfect for driving or indoors, Medium for daily wear, and High is an absolute lifesaver when it's below freezing. Battery life surprised me - I got almost 8 hours on low/medium mix on a single charge. Plus you can charge your phone from the battery pack. What I love most is it doesn't LOOK like a bulky heated jacket. It fits true to size (I'm L, 5'11" 185lbs), looks sharp, the fleece inside is super soft, and it's windproof and water-resistant. We had light snow yesterday and I stayed completely warm and dry. Build quality is solid for the price. Zippers are good, pockets are deep and heated too. If you're on the fence - just buy it. HOOHEAT really nailed this one. Best winter gear I've bought in years.

This item was an absolute surprise to me, as I truly was not expecting much at all when I first decided to try it out. The initial look and feel were much better than I had anticipated, and I was pleased to find that the quality was high right out of the box. I am five feet ten inches tall and weigh one hundred and sixty pounds, so I opted for a size large to get the fit I wanted. Because I prefer my outerwear to be a little bit longer, sizing up turned out to be the perfect decision for my personal style and comfort. The sleeves provide excellent coverage and the overall length sits just where I like it, giving me plenty of room to layer underneath if necessary. It feels substantial without being overly bulky, which is a rare balance to find in gear like this. I have found that the cut allows for a full range of motion, which is great for moving around easily throughout the day. The fleece-lined interior is soft against the skin, making it very comfortable to wear for long periods. Having such a reliable piece of clothing has already made my mornings much more pleasant. I am genuinely impressed by how much thought went into the construction and the final design. It is clear that this was made with everyday practicality in mind, and it serves its purpose perfectly. The heating function is truly impressive because it warms up so incredibly quickly once you activate the controls. It comes with its own power pack included, which makes the whole experience much more convenient and saves the hassle of hunting for compatible accessories. Even without the power pack turned on, the material is extremely warm on its own, providing a great level of insulation for those chilly days. I have been using this during the early mornings because I get cold very easily, and I find that the temperature drop overnight can sometimes trigger my digestive issues. Wearing this helps me warm up effectively and ensures I maintain that steady heat until the lingering chill of the night fully wears off. Keeping the air conditioning low for better sleep is great for my rest, but it does mean I wake up feeling quite cold. Having this nearby allows me to transition into my day feeling comfortable and protected from that early morning stiffness. The controls are simple to navigate, allowing me to adjust the heat levels without any frustration. I love that I can customize the warmth based on exactly how cold the room feels when I wake up. I absolutely cannot wait to put this to the test throughout the upcoming winter months when the weather is at its worst. It provides a level of comfort that I have struggled to find in other items, and it has already become a staple in my daily morning routine. The fact that it is machine washable is a huge bonus, as it takes the worry out of keeping it clean after frequent use. I have already recommended this to a few friends who also struggle with staying warm when the temperatures start to plummet. It performs exactly as described, if not even better, which is exactly what I was hoping for when I first saw it. Everything about the design feels durable, from the stitching to the zippers, giving me confidence that it will last for a long time. It provides a sense of security and warmth that makes me feel much more prepared for the colder seasons ahead. I am very satisfied with how well this fits into my life and addresses my specific needs for staying comfortable. It has quickly become one of the most useful things I own for managing my temperature throughout the day. I am very happy that I took a chance on this, as it has turned out to be a fantastic addition to my closet.

This is truly a wonderful and impressively high quality jacket. The outside pocket zippers and main zipper are waterproof zippers. The outer fabric is water-resistant. The inside is lined with cozy polar fleece. The cuffs are adjustable via velcro strip (max cuff is 13"), and the hood opening can be adjusted via slide buckle on an elastic cord. The hem can be tightened to the body by an elastic cord and slide buckle, and the excess elastic is secured inside the jacket so it won't stick out and get caught on things (like the 2000s North Face jackets used to). The inside pocket, where the battery pack goes, does not have a waterproof zipper. This pocket is where the power cord plugs into the rechargeable battery. The cord emerges from the inner workings of the jacket, through the pocket. The cord has a tightly fit silicone cap to protect the plug from dust and lint when not plugged into the battery and to prevent water damage when the jacket is washed. The jacket is machine washable (instructions in included product manual) and line dryable. The heat controls are a little circular pad on the left chest of the jacket. You can turn the heat on/off and adjust the heat level. The light color changes to indicate which of 3 levels is selected: Blue for low heat, Orange for medium heat, Red for high heat. You can set heat levels for the back and front together or independently. There are 9 heated regions in the back (neck, shoulders, back) and 6 heated regions on the front (stomach, chest, shoulders). There is a lightbulb icon button that turns the light display on/off, so you can set your heat level and then turn the light off. With the light turned off, the control pad looks like a brand emblem at a glance. The battery lasts a long time and has a set of 4 lights on one end that indicate the charge percentage remaining. When plugging in the battery, the jacket and battery pack both automatically turn on. When the battery pack is disconnected, it has an automatic 30-second shut-off. The battery pack is a little heavy but it holds a big charge. It measures 4.25"×2.75"×1.25". I got this jacket for my partner to stay warm, especially when his work requires being outdoors in the cold winter weather. He loves it and gave me notes about the fit. He usually wears a XL in tshirts, hoodies, etc. Because this jacket is not a stretch knit or a weave that has any give, I went up a size to the XXL when I ordered it. He said he's glad I did because the shoulder width would have been too restricting to freely move in his full range of motion in his normal size. The raglan style sleeves are 33.75" long from the cuff to the seam adjoining the hood to the jacket. He has very long arms and this jacket covers his wrists until he lifts his arms. That is pretty standard for him due to his size. I approximate the shoulder width of the jacket to be about 27" (hard to measure with raglan sleeves). The jacket has just enough room inside for layering a thermal layer, shirt, and hoodie/sweatshirt. He is 6'5" and the 31" length is right on the cusp between crop top range and acceptable range. The chest of the XXL jacket measures 55" around, and the hem measures 54" around. He says the fleece lining is soft without being the type of fluffy that leaves fluff fibers on the clothing he wears underneath. The heating is effective. He turned on the heat to see how fast it heats up. His note was "I'm already starting to sweat and I've only been in it for 2 minutes." The jacket comes with a storage bag, battery, and charging cable for the battery. The only noticeable flaw is some wonky stitching on the jacket interior. The seams do not align on opposite sides of the zipper at the bottom. It is the only discernible flaw I see. I'm a seamstress, so these things stick out to me. My partner is not and even when I pointed to it, he said he didn't know what I was pointing to or why it was wrong. He pays close attention to detail in most things, so if he didn't notice or care, then I'm confident that I am the only one annoyed by it.

I like how this HOOHEAT heated jacket combines the feel of a substantial winter coat with heating coverage across fifteen zones, because I prefer warmth distributed around my upper body rather than concentrated in only one or two small areas. I find the fleece lining comfortable even before I turn the heat on, and I appreciate having three heat levels because I can choose a lower setting when I am active outdoors and increase it when I am standing around in colder conditions. The controls are straightforward for me to operate while wearing the jacket, and I like being able to change the temperature without removing layers. I also appreciate the hood because it gives me additional protection when the wind picks up, while the dark black exterior has a simple appearance that works equally well for outdoor work, hiking, or everyday winter wear. I would pay close attention to the sizing chart when selecting the XX Large because I want enough room for comfortable movement and an additional base layer without making the jacket unnecessarily loose. I especially appreciate the included 16000mAh battery pack because I do not have to immediately purchase a separate power source before using the heating system. I find it helpful to secure the battery properly in its designated pocket so the weight stays controlled while I am moving, and I can select the heat level according to how much warmth I actually need instead of automatically leaving it on the highest setting. The multiple heating areas are particularly appealing to me when I am spending extended time outside because the jacket still functions as a normal insulated coat whenever the heating system is turned off. I also like that the jacket is designed to be machine washable because outdoor clothing inevitably needs cleaning, although I always remove the battery and follow the care instructions before washing it. Overall, I appreciate the fifteen heating zones, three temperature choices, large rechargeable battery, soft fleece lining, protective hood, and washable construction, and I find the combination much more versatile for cold weather activities than relying entirely on additional layers.

This mid-weight, hooded jacket contains heating elements that are powered by an included 16000mAh lithium battery that connects via a plug in an internal storage pocket. The heating elements are spread across the neck, shoulders, back, and stomach, which also provides heat to the side pockets. The heating elements are designed to turn on to the jacket’s high setting as soon as the battery is plugged in and they increase the warmth of the coat by quite a bit. After 5 minutes, the heat level is reduced to medium automatically unless manual adjustments are made via the buttons on the chest. There are four buttons on a chest shield that looks like a circular logo and lights up when the battery is plugged in. The top button turns the logo light off while the heating elements keep working. The two side buttons control the heat level of the front and back of the jacket independently, while the bottom button cycles the front and back through the three heating levels in sync with short clicks, and turns the jacket on and off with long presses. There is also memory, e.g. if the front and the back were set at different levels when the jacket is powered off with the bottom button, then the same setting will be in effect when the jacket is powered back on with the bottom button. The battery fits inside an internal pocket where the plug is located. I like the click and location of the buttons on the chest, the colors that indicate which heat level is set, and the fact that the control lights can be turned off. The battery is supposed to last 3-4 hours on high and up to 7-12 hours on the low setting. The size L fits as expected in the torso, but the sleeves seem a little long. There are hook-and-loop cuff adjustments to keep the sleeves in place, however. There are also cinch strings at the waist and collar to adjust the fit of the jacket and hood. The hood is not detachable. The zippers for the jacket and the pockets appear to be waterproof. This could be important since the instructions say not to wear the jacket if the liner is wet. Water beads on the outer shell while the inside is fleece-lined. The only thing I don’t like about the jacket is the weight. The jacket itself is about 2-1/2 pounds, and the battery brings it up to around 3 pounds. I guess I’ve become used to well-insulated puffy coats which are so light by comparison. The jacket does seem to be well-designed and well-made. It is necessary to handle it with some care -- no stuffing it or over-folding it. It can be washed in cold water and should be hung to dry completely before using.

Got this as my husband and I like to walk a lot but we just moved somewhere where it gets significantly colder than where we used to live. I wanted him to have this jacket as the battery pack warms it up nicely without having a ton of extra bulk that you get with heavy duty winter coats. The size guide listed by the seller is accurate, I got my husband a size small and it fits him pretty good. For reference he is 5ft8in and weighs about 170lbs. I probably should have gotten him the medium as he lifts weights quite a bit so his chest is broader than most and his arms are bigger than average for his height and weight, because of this the jacket fits nicely with a regular shirt but if he needs to layer or is wearing a heavy sweatshirt it might be too tight. This is totally not a fault of the product or seller just not forward thinking on my part. The battery pack to heat the jacket is a little bulky but when charged up and plugged in the jacket def. warms up quickly. It has 3 heating levels and I clicked through all 3 and gave them each 10 minutes and I could def tell the difference between each setting. I am not sure how long the battery pack will last on each of the three settings that is something I will have to take note of and update my review at a later date. Overall, a great little heated jacket for winter with a price point far less than similar jackets on the market.

This jacket is a lie. There is no heat in the arms chest or stomach area. Only place that heats is the neck and back and this is proven with the insert with the picture attached. The picture online is not what you get. Do not buy! The heat zones are not where they say they are

So far, this seems like a nice jacket. It’s still too warm outside to really put the heating feature to the test, but I’m looking forward to trying it once the weather cools down. I haven’t had a chance to see how well it heats or how long the battery lasts, so I can’t comment on those features just yet. For now, I’m just going off my initial impression, and I’ll have a better idea of how it performs once it gets cold enough to use.
